"Go get Windgaze," Silvergaze mutters absentmindedly and Moonkit darts out of the den and bounds over to Windgaze's den. Windgaze turns around at the noise to see a distressed Moonkit. "What is it?" she asks, suddenly having to follow Moonkit as he darts off towards WaterStar's den. Windgaze dips inside and looks at WaterStar.

I grinded my teeth, and stuggled to unlock my muscles.

"WaterStar... What's going on?" Windgaze asks quietly, trying to look him over and figure it out.

"Spinal cord injury. Small to mild paralization."I said."I know my way around the cat body."

"H-How did you get an injury like that?" Windgaze asks shakily.

Windgaze sits and her shoulders droop. "I've never had to try and fix a spinal injury before... I'm... I'm not sure that I can."

"Silvergaze... Take the kits and go to the nursery," Windgaze says quietly, waiting for them to leave before she moves closer to WaterStar. "I'm sorry..." She rakes her claw along a spot of his throat and clamps her eyes shut.

Windgaze darts to her den before coming back with cobwebs and poppy seeds for when he wakes up.

I shook my head, looking around, remembering what happened, and feeling the blood drip down my neck.

"Here. This will help soak up the blood," Windgaze says quietly as she sets cobwebs on the area she ripped open.

I nodded, and stood up, and started towards the nursery.

I sat near the river, my neck craned up to look at Silverpelt's glowing mass in the sky.
"This needs to be fixed..." I murmured to the distant stars. "They shouldn't be here..the weak need to be rooted out for a stronger clan.."
They were always silent, and never did I get a response from them.
All the same, I looked to them for answers.
"What would you have me do, Shadowstar?" I whispered, looking to my former leader for answers, shutting my eyes and feeling strangely exposed.
"Avenge me, Wildclaw..."
I thought I could just barely hear his voice on the wind.
My eyes opened, and I saw him before me, a mere shadow that wavered in the night breeze.
"Avenge me......you, my faithful warrior, should be the one to avenge me. Make me proud.."
I blinked, opening my mouth to reply, but all that was left were the shadows of night to speak to.
"I will do as you ask, Shadowstar." I whispered, dipping my head to the stars and rising from my spot on the ground. "And I will not disappoint you."

Silvergaze was curled around her kits in the nursery, Moonkit was looking around, not trying to ignore everything like Angelkit was.

Ravenpath opens his eye slightly and stands, stretching quite a bit, before sitting back down and licking his paw.
