Silvergaze purrs and licks Moonkit's head as he rolls over onto his paws. Angelkit pads over to WaterStar and mews happily.

Silvergaze's ear twitches and she looks at WaterStar. "You okay?"

I nodded."I took Moonkit to Windgaze. We decided that he should, when he is old enough, to be the medicine cat apprentice."I said.

"That's great," she purrs, rubbing Moonkit's belly with her paw while he purrs.

"Windgaze says Moonkit might be mute. Its too early to be sure."I said, quickly.

Silvergaze stops moving and her expression goes blank. Moonkit tilts his head to the side in curiosity, wondering what was wrong. "Really...?" she mutters, looking at WaterStar at through the corner of her eye.

Silvergaze sighs and Moonkit looks up at her before purring. She smiles at him and he nuzzles into her belly fur.

I purred, and looked at Angelkit."Can you say Mom?"I asked.

Angelkit crouches and pounces on WaterStar's tail before purring. She meows out a quiet 'mom' and Silvergaze smiles, but her eyes held invisible tears. Moonkit purrs and settles in between Silvergaze's paws, closing his eyes lightly in content.

I purred, and flinched ath the sound of someone breaking a twig, and flinched again, at the same sound, and started shaking violently.

Angelkit backs up from him a little before going over to Silvergaze and hiding against Silvergaze's belly. Silvergaze licks her head and looks at WaterStar with worry.

I clenched my eyes shut, and pushed against the ground, and my paws squeezed close.

"What's going on with you...? You're scaring the kits," Silvergaze whispers before ushering Angelkit and Moonkit over to her.
