"I'm not quite sure they'll take a fish as a good sign," he thinks out loud, "but it's up to you. It is your first fish after all."

"I can go hunting after this." I said, nodding at his words. They made sense.
I take a small bite from the fish, unsure of what it might be like.
"Hey! This isnt that bad. Different, but not bad at all." I said, taking a few more quick bites.

He purrs before eating his own fish and tossing the bones into the water so they'd scatter and not seem so suspicious. Ravenpath licks his paw and carefully runs it over his injured eye, not being as bothered by it anymore.

I did the same, licking my paw and drawing it over my ear.
"Better go hunt now, while my ribs are numb. Do you want to come, or is your eye bothering you..?" I asked carefully.

"I'll come. Might as well practice with the eye I have, no?" he asks, a small smile on his face.

Ravenpath drops his freshkill on the pile in camp before padding to Mosspelt's (?) den to see if his eye was healing alright.

I followed after him and dropped mine on the pile as well, stretching and looking around camp for something to do.
When I was met only by the usual hostile glares of my clan mates, I followed Ravenpath. My ribs were beginning to ache, anyways, and I wanted to see how he was doing.

(Rainfur reminds me of this stalker I had in 5th grade...)

[Wildclaw]

I sat in the shadows of a more secluded corner of the camp, my tail flicking angrily. Mudpaw should be back by now; what the Hell could possibly be taking him so long?

Ravenpath yawns as he walks into Mosspelt's den and sits, looking around for him.

I emerged from my herb stores, looking around briefly, and seeing Ravenpath.
"Hello again. Getting that eye of yours checked?" I asked, already looking over the healing wound.

"Might as well right? It's just been lightly throbbing every now and then," Ravenpath tells him.

I nod.
"Good, good. You're a cautious cat. Not the type to say you're too strong to suffer. That's a good trait." I said, continuing to look it over.
"Well, it looks fine to me. I think it'll heal up nice and easy. There's no sign of infection, either, which is lucky." I smiled good naturedly at him. "Unfortunately, I'm not sure if you'll be able to use this eye again. But I can never be completely sure, and you've been lucky so far."

Ravenpath nods, smiling at the fact that it was healing alright. "Even if I'm not able to use my eye again, I deserved it," he says calmly, the small smile still on his face.

I gave him a small, sad smile.
"I don't know what you did, nor do I want to know, but I do wish you the best of luck."
I lowered my voice a bit then, my eyes sweeping the camp quickly.
"And be careful of Wildclaw. Shes been poking her nose where it doesn't belong, and nothing ever good comes of that. She has influence and power in this clan that combats Starclan's."
My words were swift and quiet, and when I withdrew I held a neutral expression.
"And Rainfur, your ribs should be fine within the next few days."
I said, turning to the her as if nothing had passed between Ravenpath and I.

Ravenpath gives Mosspelt a nod before yawning widely and his ear twitches. He stays sitting and wraps his tail in front of his paws.

I sat next to him, giving Mosspelt a curious look. He had gone back to sorting through his various herbs.
"What was that about?" I murmured to Ravenpath.

Ravenpath licks his chest fur a few times before settling down and closing his eye, his purring only being heard whenever he exhaled.

I settled down next to him, and cautiously began to groom his fur.

I glanced over at the two and smiled to myself. They seemed to have grown closer over the course of a few days than most friends did over moons.
